Scientific activity

To arrange academic and methodological work, the Concern has founded the Centre for Methodological, Organizing, Scientific and Technical Support.

The Centre objectives are to improve the training level of personnel to acquire new skills for professional activity, to upgrade professional abilities to provide the Concern with qualified scientific and technological community, and to teach graduate students, doctoral candidates and the cadre reserve of the Concern.

TRAINING OF HIGH-SKILLED BRAINPOWER

The Concern has a license for postgraduate educational activities to teach graduate students and doctoral candidates.

For the students the Centre has elaborated the learner's guides and provides studies of history and philosophy of science, foreign language, procedure of the arrangement of Candidate's dissertation.

The scientific schools headed by PhDs have been developed for key lines of scientific work covering the following areas of research:

- hydrodynamics of underwater weapon and dual-purpose underwater systems;

- propulsion systems for underwater weapon and UUVs

- fixed and mobile detection and surveillance systems;

- control systems for underwater weapon, UAVs and special-purpose systems;

- homing systems for underwater weapon and UAVs;

- advanced chemical current sources.

EDITING AND PUBLISHING ACTIVITIES

From 2003, JSC “Concern “Sea Underwater Weapon - Gidropribor” has issued the serial science-and-research collected papers “Sea Underwater Weapon”. The edition publishes analytical data on urgent scientific and engineering problems, develops challenges and explores capabilities for the designing of advanced underwater capability.

Among the authors are members of Russian Navy General Headquarters and experts from leading companies of the military-industrial complex.
